Reliability Data Analysis in the Sas System
نویسنده
چکیده
fitting of regression models to life data, where the life distribution location parameter is a linear function of covariates. The fitting yields maximum likelihood estimates of parameters of a regression model with a Weibull, exponential, extreme value, normal, lognormal, logistic, loglogistic, or generalized gamma distribution. The data can be complete, right censored, left censored, or interval censored. For example, accelerated life test data can be modeled with such a regression model.

Reliability analysis: Calculate and Compare Intra-class Correlation Coefficients (ICC) in SAS
Reliability studies are widely used to assess the measurement reproducibility of human observers, laboratory assays or diagnostic tests. For quantitative measures, intra-class correlation coefficient (ICC) is the principal measurement of reliability. In this paper, a SAS macro is provided to calculate the ICC and its confidence limits. The application of the macro is demonstrated in a clinical ...
متن کاملReliability analysis of a robotic system using hybridized technique
In this manuscript, the reliability of a robotic system has been analyzed using the available data (containing vagueness, uncertainty, etc). Quantification of involved uncertainties is done through data fuzzification using triangular fuzzy numbers with known spreads as suggested by system experts. With fuzzified data, if the existing fuzzy lambda–tau (FLT) technique is employed, then the comput...
متن کاملThe Gambling Symptom Assessment Scale (G-SAS): a reliability and validity study.
Two hundred seven patients with DSM-IV Pathological Gambling Disorder completed both the Gambling Symptom Assessment Scale (G-SAS) and the Yale-Brown Obsessive-Compulsive Scale--modified for Pathological Gambling (PG-YBOCS) at baseline visit and weekly or biweekly thereafter during the 12-week study period. The week 1 to week 2 visit data were used to assess test-retest reliability. Weekly or b...
متن کاملBayes Networks and Fault Tree Analysis Application in Reliability Estimation (Case Study: Automatic Water Sprinkler System)
In this study, the application of Bayes networks and fault tree analysis in reliability estimation have been investigated. Fault tree analysis is one of the most widely used methods for estimating reliability. In recent years, a method called "Bayes Network" has been used, which is a dynamic method, and information about the probable failure of the system components will be updated according to...
متن کاملAccelerated Tests as an Effective Means of Quality Improvement
Accelerated testing is an effective tool for predicting when systems fail, where the system can be as simple as an engine gasket or as complex as a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner. In particular, you might conduct an experiment to determine how factors such as temperature and voltage impose enough stress on the system to cause failure. Because system components usually meet nominal qua...
متن کاملNew Methods for Modeling Reliability Using Degradation Data
Engineers and researchers use life tests in a wide variety of industrial applications to determine how well critical components and materials will perform under different operating conditions. By estimating the failure time distribution, decisions can be made that influence the design, improvement, and storage of products so they meet customer requirements. Manufacturer warranty decisions may a...
